Sambal Ikan Bilis - Chilliz

These days in Australia, it is easy to buy Asian ingredients. I like to use this brand of paste - 'Chilliz'. Over 20 years ago, these type of pastes would have been difficult to find and buy.

My favourite is the Sambal Nasi Lemak. It's so easy to cook nasi lemak with this paste. It tastes yummy too.

  1. Ya, Charmaine, the Chilliz products are reliable. I have also tried the har mee (prawn yellow noodle soup) product from Chilliz after you gave me the nasi lemak version. I find them better in taste and quality than some of the similar lines from manufacturers in Oz and Indonesia.

  2. this is my absolute fav. yea.. well, beggers can't be choosers. I'm going to try the assam laksa version. soon.
