It was a beautiful autumn day yesterday, the start of the Anzac Day long weekend. I took the opportunity to catch up with good friends, Kevin and Cindy. We went for lunch at Ripples, Chowder Bay. The restaurant has beautiful waterfront views of Clifton Gardens. Hope over to Kevin's blog for more photos.
Before we get to the food photos, here are some photos of the location.

Your images of sailing boats on Chowder Bay synchronise with your perspective of the perfectly balanced prawn on the sand crab ravioli. From your images, I also reckon there is a uncanny connection between the two circles of the beef ragu with parpadelle and the deboned quail on the goat's cheese tart - and both have toppings, like on a miniature Christmas tree.
ReplyDeleteYour lunch looked yummy - with views to match!
ReplyDeleteThe prawns and the scallop entrees looked so juicy.
Charmaine, many thks for egg-less tiramisu. Coincidentally, tiramisu is on my list tis year. I just bought a book - Su Chan's cakes and temptations.. I so love her cakes. I think your eggless one will come handy for Amber when I make mine . Thanks again for thinking of us.
ReplyDeleteElaine, glad the recipe is useful. That's the beauty of the blogging, we can support and advise each other no matter where we are. Let me know how you go.
