Short Break - Sunshine Coast, QLD

We'll be taking a short break from today. My sister and her family arrives from USA today. Then we'll be leaving mid-week for a beach holiday in Sunshine Coast in sunny Queensland. Sunshine Coast is further north of the ever-popular Gold Coast. Sunshine Coast is famous for its pineapples @ Big Pineapple, Australia Zoo (home of the late Steve Irwin the Crocodile Hunter), beautiful beaches and Eumundi markets.

It will be great to relax with family. It's been more than 1.5 years since we last saw my sis, BIL and nephew. It is their first trip to Queensland and also their first time spending Christmas and New Year in a warm climate. It's usually freezing cold and snowing where they live in USA at this time of year. My two girls are looking forward to spending time with their cousin.
