Chinese New Year 2010 - 1st Day

We went out to a Chinese restaurant for lunch to celebrate the 1st day of CNY with my in-laws. For the 1st time, we tried the Hakka dish 'Poon Choi' which translates to 'Big Bowl Feast'. The dish is a big bowl/basin filled with everything from duck, chicken, pork, beef tendon, taufoo, beancurd sticks, prawns, dried scallops, vegetables, mushrooms (shitake, abalone mushroom) etc.

It is an interesting dish and tasty. But we were only able to eat about a 1/4 of it at the restaurant. We brought the rest home for dinner tonight and tomorrow night and the next night.... you get the idea of how much was leftover.
