My favourite part of the Easter Show is the Cake Decorating section. I love to see the displays and admire the craft of the talented and creative people who make them. Some of the cakes are absolutely mind-blowing and stunning. Here are a few of my favourites.

Good Friday

Good Friday is a quiet day reflection for our family as we pause to remember Jesus' death. All the shops, cinemas and malls are closed today. The day is usually spent at home finishing off by attending the Passion of our Lord liturgy at the church in the late afternoon.

This year, we have a long Easter break till next Tuesday, due to Anzac Day falling on 25 April.

Lindt Peanut Butter Easter Eggs

Have you ever tried these Lindt Easter eggs? We love the smooth peanut butter filling. A touch of saltiness to balance the sweetness of the chocolate. These peanut butter Easter eggs were difficult to find at our local Coles or Woolworths supermarkets and K-Mart. In the end, I managed to buy a few packs from the Lindt Cafe at Martin Place (which is located 'temptingly' next to my workplace).
