Lights of Christmas 2010
This year, the NSW Government held a new event called "Lights of Christmas" as part of the Christmas festive season to share the spirit of peace, joy and goodwill in Sydney. The event started on 8 Dec and finished on Christmas Day. Each night, St Mary's Cathedral and Hyde Park Barracks Museums are illuminated with a dazzling display of lights projected on to their facade. There were also performances by various choral groups in the forecourt of the Cathedral. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to watch any of these performances, as we only discovered this event a little too late. I hope the event will be held again next year.
