Charmaine, I buy the ready made (or ready fried to be exact) yee mein (crispy noodles)...everytime I make this type of dish, I forget whether I'm supposed to cook the noodles in with the rest of the dish, or soak it with cold water or just break it all up to be served...what do you do if you get the ready made one? just serve on top right? help?
Cyn, with yee mein, don't you still have to boil them 1st? I've never used them since it's hard to get fresh ones at the shops. These noodles are used are similar to the wan tan mee, but parboiled or steamed, so I just have to fry in small batches.
Your crispy noodles look so yummy! it's been a while since I've had these
