We met up with a friend who has been travelling back and forth to NZ for work. We met at
Kazbah at the recently opened branch in Top Ryde Shopping Centre. Kazbah serves Middle Eastern influenced food. We love the middle-eastern spices - cumin, coriander, cardamon, sumac - a good balanced in all the meals (except for the chocolate and raspberry pancakes). My favourite was the lamb tagine, well spiced and served with toasted turkish bread and lebanese flatbread too. Unusual meal for brunch but fulfilling. We'll definitely return to try the other items on the menu. We might try the main branch next time in Balmain.

Kazbah is great for a big group. If you have eight ore more in your group, you can order the banquet menu. The servings are huge, so bring a big appetite too!
