Chinese New Year 2013 - Bak Kwa (Chinese Pork Jerky)

Last year, I made some bak kwa or chinese pork jerky following Sonia's recipe - Bak Kwa. My family loved it especially hubby and Miss 7. It is difficult to get this type of sweet meats in Sydney and they are expensive too. This year, I made it again.


  1. Wow, looks good.. Is it really that easy to make? I'm thinking of attempting this with Victoria, call it a mother-daughter project, because she loves to cook and hang around the kitchen. And this bak kwa happen to be her favourite!

  2. Ya...looks really good. I've three packets now - people gave I do not need to buy or make my own. Hehehehehe!!!!
